Radiology (X-Rays)

Radiology (X-Rays)

We are proud to offer state of the art on site digital radiology. Radiographs, also known as x-rays, are a valuable diagnostic tool that allow our doctor to evaluate the internal organs and bone structure of your pet. Radiographs are a safe, painless, and non-invasive form of testing. Only a small dose of radiation is used to make each image, therefore safe for all patients including: puppies, kittens, and pregnant pets. Each radiograph helps to determine organ placement, size, and shape. Medical conditions for example, heart, kidney, and liver disease may increase size or disfigure the shape of these organs. Depending on size and location tumors can often be detected and measured on images. A variety of other conditions may be easily diagnosed with a radiograph from bladder stones, bone fractures, and chronic arthritis. It is our goal to provide your pet with the highest level of medical care possible, call us today to discuss if your pet needs a digital radiograph.
